We had a little glitch when we did not get our passports stamped in the correct place when crossing the border but that was soon sorted.
We stopped for lunch at a roadside diner called Carmen's 
and then continued to St Johns.
Our hotel was fine with a big, quiet room. It was busy as there was a large wedding party staying as well as a sporting team but we were away from them. 
We drove to town for dinner. This is not a happening town-it was Friday night and everything seemed closed except a few restaurants on the water.
After dinner we drove around a bit but then went back to the hotel.
The next day we to enter Nova Scotia and go to Halifax.
